SBA 8a program is back + The US Government is not shutting down

The political storm is over...

Last night, while we were asleep in our beds, the US Congress convened in their chambers and was able to finally come to an agreement regarding the fiscal budget.

The result of this midnight shut-in is as follows:

8a is back (this is a relief for SBA and government contractors).

The government won't shut down; an agreement was reached (this is a relief for taxpayers and the government workforce)

Results: Federal grants will continue to be paid out to grantees. Federal agencies will commence their operations. Contract payments will be honored, and so forth.

It's election season. Brace yourself for more twists and turns.
